Our work with Summit started with a solid recommendation from good friends of ours. Summit commenced the renovation of our house in May 2018. Overall it was a very good experience.
Our renovation consisted of a basement and second storey gut as well as an addition at the back of the house and over the garage. The project featured beautiful trim work, shaker style doors, a curbless shower, gorgeous tile work, custom cabinetry, new siding and windows. Summit brought to the table a strong work ethic and continous progress throughout the summer with construction completion at the end of November that same year. Summit staff were curteous, responsive and very easy to get along with which made for a stress free experience. Summit’s sub-contractors were equally responsive helping to provide overall project synergies. We worked with Walter throughout the project to both control the budget and make sure our money was always spent wisely.

Our neightbours were so impressed that they are now undergoing a similar size renovation with Summit.

WE are extremely pleased with the renovation done on our house by Summit Development Group. We picked the Summit Development Group because we had watched a couple of projects in our area be completed quickly and with excellent results. We asked the homeowners who had done the work and were given Walter’s number. We found Walter to be very knowledgeable, honest and personable. We went with Walter and the Summit Development Group, the work was done on time, to a high standard, and on budget and our opinion of Walter only improved. Also there were no surprises. Our site supervisor Josh, an exceptional, qualified young man, was at our house almost everyday (and some Saturdays) for 3 months (the estimated completion time) and Walter also came frequently for consultation, to drop off supplies, etc. All of the people who worked on our project from the demolition, excavation, mason and cement work, painting, aluminum work (eaves-troughs, soffits, fascia and capping), taping and mudding, electrical, and more were friendly, organized, tidy and excellent at their specialty.
It was an extremely pleasant experience and we would highly recommend Summit Development Group.
